1) Khan's vision of personalized learning
I agree with Khan's vision of personalized learning because it contributes to a strong foundation for students learning. There may be disadvantages to this strategy, but I think it will be helpful for kids learning to do independent study at their own pace in and outside the classroom. For example, Khan offers instructional videos and exercises for students to empower their learning in whichever area they may try to tackle—math, science, etc. With Khan's vision, it provides a focus on skills that will make learners adapt to it and apply it to their learning.
2) Google Classroom
I liked about every feature in Google Classroom, such as the ability to create announcements, assignments, quizzes, etc. The most important is that teacher can monitor students work, keep track of their progress, and be able to provide help when students need it. Another feature is schedule post in advance and can be reuse post to multiple classes which is fast work and save time. I liked how organized things are when creating assignments; everything that needed to be input in detail can be done through the questions created (like score, right answers, etc.). I really liked that Google Classroom really provided benefits according to its purpose and aim, which is to provide a learning tool for teachers and students to communicate with each other, share files, and create, distribute, and grade assignments in a more efficient and accurate way.

I like the words that you used there which is "empowering their learning". I think its true that with this concept that Khan taught which will probably penetrate inside many classrooms and educational institutions in the world because it really focuses on the core of education which are students. The focus of any teacher in the teaching field should be their students because they will be a product of the teacher's success.
ReplyDeleteIn addition, google classroom is one important feature in the teaching that I am starting to love myself. Tonight, as I create my own classroom as an assignment, methought at first that it is very complicated but then while working on it, I kind of like it. Looking forward to exploring its features and applying in our course study. Thank you for sharing.
I like Khan's vision as well because it allows students also to focus on areas they need help in and not waste time learning things they have already mastered. For example if I were struggling with Math I would have loved to take my time on that subject instead of being rushed. If I take my time on a certain subject I will eventually become good at it. The only thing is that maybe I might take too much time on one subject and forget the rest.
