Benefits of active learning.

Active learning is what really matters for students. A teacher with effective teaching strategies allows students to actively participate and engage in learning; in other words, students who actively learn are the ones who understand and make sense of what they learn. There are great benefits to active learning, such as deep learning; it helps students to reflect, write, think, and be better at problem solving and more creative. Not only do they gain the knowledge and skills necessary to be an effective learner, but they also gain a greater learning experience that would help them overcome any challenges with education in the near future.

The importance of formative assessments within a lesson.

Formative assessment is an effective way of assessing what students have learned through the teacher's ongoing feedback to them that helps them learn from their mistakes. More specifically, formative assessment helps students know what they need to improve. Formative assessment in a lesson really points out the target areas for students to work on. Formative assessments benefit both teacher and student. For teachers, it helps them identify concepts that students need to work on or are having trouble understanding. This can also allow teachers to adjust their lesson plans or instructional techniques in order to meet the needs of improving students learning. For students, formative assessments allow them to know their mistakes, their strengths and weaknesses, and what they actually need help with.

My first encounter with the iPhone, for example, was difficult because I had to use my Apple ID and remember it in order to gain access to the device, and there were many more things for Apple devices, such as keeping it updated to the latest software. However, as I experimented with technology and learned how various devices work, I became acquainted with and gained background knowledge for the future use of new devices. Hope to learn from this class My hope to learn from this class is to be able to gain knowledge on how certain technology works that can be used effectively in future teaching. I also wanted to get familiar with this use of te...
